«Klübler / Pantli»
The «Appenzeller Pantli» is a compact, angular raw sausage that is reminiscent of a Landjäger, but develops an unmistakable taste thanks to the generous addition of garlic. During the drying process, smoke from untreated wood is repeatedly added, making the sausage a specialty with a strong and pronounced aroma (also due to the garlic). Every bite is a piece of Appenzeller delight.
Indulgence
«Pantli» is often eaten - not too cold - as a snack or for dinner, together with dark bread, Appenzeller cheese and red wine or sour cider.
