Culinary E-Bike Tour «Eso choscht wädli föschi»
Appenzell"E fresst de Chäs mitsamt em Täller..." (He devours his cheese as well as his plate). - Things are not quite so culinary on this "Culinary E-Bike Tour" through the Appenzellerland. But you will certainly be spoiled: on the one hand, thanks to the e-bike, you can enjoy the landscape and the clean air to the fullest, and on the other hand, the restaurants along the way will spoil you with a typical Appenzeller menu, which you can enjoy from course to course in various restaurants.
This route is a recommendation on our part. It mostly follows along roads with little traffic. Just follow the route of Veloland Schweiz 222. We ask you to observe the traffic regulations. Great caution is advised in particular on the sections Stein - Hundwil, Urnäsch - Jakobsbad as well as on the railroad crossing between Gonten and Gontenbad (danger of falling on train tracks)! For athletic guests, the "Culinary E-Bike Tour" is also suitable by bicycle or racing bike. Of course, the route (approx. 47 km) can also be shortened!
