Swiss Traditions – Appenzellerland

Small group tour to the traditional Appenzell. Travel along Lake Zürich to the Lindt Chocolate Shop where you can buy best Swiss chocolate at favourable prices. Continue via Rapperswil to Stein and visit a show diary incl. cheese-tasting! We then reach the picturesque village of Appenzell. Individual visit to the Appenzell Museum (incl.) to get an overview of to the region and its culture. Stroll through the picturesque pedestrian zone with its painted half-timbered houses and pass by the "Brauquöll Appenzell" visitor center. Before returning zo Zürich, your guide takes you to the Landsgemeindeplatz and explains the unusual political customs of the Appenzell people and to a traditional bakery.
