Roothuus Gonten
Built between 1762 and 1765, the historic ROOTHUUS GONTEN offers a wealth of interesting information about the well-documented history of music around the Alpstein. The wonderful ballroom with its baroque paintings, as well as the numerous instruments on display, encourage visitors to linger. The house is devoted to the collection, archiving, research and comunication of the folk music of Appenzell and Toggenburg.
