The route from the parish church in Appenzell to the battle site on the Stoss is covered in prayer and the return journey is by Appenzell railway.
Procedure:
- Start of the procession at the parish church of St Mauritius, Appenzell
- Pilgrimage via the assembly point to Stoss,
- Return journey with special trains to Appenzell
